NOT you are weird. lol NOW the post is there!

I tried to find the post you spoke of but could not find it.

There was no private post. Can you email me now?

I have been to a few meetings lately. I really love them. We are
so fortunate to have this medium.

John, bless his pea picken heart, sent me the site to download
to be an op to monitor but I could not get the download to work. I
tried twice. I kept the site and will try again.

Your daughter sounds great missey. I am so glad. One day at a time

Now how are you? I tell ya cdb I am seriously horrified when docs
put people on the pain med you are on. I know you need med.
no question. But that kind to me freak sme out. It is harder to
get off of than heroin!

I think we have talked about it. It is not your fault at all. I know
a man with cancer who is on it for pain. He cannot get off it.

He has tried really hard.

yikes.

Anyhoo can ya send me an email now?

I am not having computer problems really. Just am too ignorant
to figure out how to get the page to fit on my monitor!lol

Love,debilyn

Hello debilyn,

I know you didn't mean me being weird you silly girl LOL :) :)  I just saw my family doctor last week and talked to her about the methadone thing. She also agreed that for me and my chronic pain that this is the right medication for me for now. It is a medication that is actually being used more by doctors now a days and it is also pretty inexpensive. I only take 10 mg at night and never exceed that. All my doctors say this is a very small amount and yes my body is probably dependent on it but it is helping my pain. I have never craved pain meds and never gotten a high feeling from them. That is when person knows that your body is using them for chronic pain. So far, I have dicussed this with my Pain Specialist/Physiatrist, my Accupuncturist/Chiropractor who teaches accupuncture, my Psychiatrist/former Urologist, and now my Family Doctor/GP. My health insurance will pay for me to go to a pain clinic for 3 weeks which Mayo Clinic recommended, but I would have to pay for my own room and board which we cannot afford. So for me, I have done all I can for now. If I did not have my pain meds, I would not be able to function which is a proven fact for having chronic pain for the past 10 years. I understand your concern. I did email you just now, 7:15 central time. Hope you get it. cdb :)
