Funny, odd funny... / my cats...

…my cats, I think about four years of age, so dislike being held huggy like, but much so crave it. And, I do hug them strongly, with locked hold but not squeezing and not locking to ‘keep’ them but a letting go hug… go as they will and ever so slowly do… funny thing about love, well maybe it ain’t so strange, just let it be, just let it go, don’t chase it, don’t run from it, don’t do any of these things just to have it, and it does not go anywhere it is just there in and around… an is… if you just let it be…

God is Love & that’s all there is…
…all else is but an illusion.

Hugs & Luv,

Richard,

That is kinda funny and a strange place for a life lesson, but it is just that. My kids have a couple cats of similar age both of which are very affectionate towards myself, almost to the degree of annoying. They have always come to me cause I let them come and go as they please, which seems every time I sit down. The kids on the other hand seem to hold them captive and they obviously do not care for that as they run when the kids attempt to pick em up. I've never looked at this as significant, however since you mention it I begin to think that one can hold on to tight.

Thanks for pointing that out Richard

I know what you mean about hugging the cats (I'm a real cat girl) loving gently and kindly and letting the cats come and go of their own free will and stay as long or as short as they like.

Ok now I'm typing I really get it! your posts always have a deeper meaning Richard, I so love that!

Thanks for keeping me on my toes I love reading your posts and your replies, a lot of your wisdom and insights seem to stay firm in my mind and I call on them during the day.

Hello again Richard. It was so good to be able to finally get on line again and find the message board. I look down the list of names til I found a familar one and was thrilled it was You.

It's so strange that you were talking about cats. We have a four year old cat whose name is Kat. She is very much our owner. When she whats affection, she'll let us know. When I pick her up because I want to cuddle, she doesn't always have that same need at the time. I hate to let her go but I have to or else she'll just fight against me.

We recently got a puppy. Sometimes when she's fed and pottied I'll attempt to go about my business and she'll start to whine for no apparent reason. But she does have a reason, she wants what I sometimes need, just a little and affection.

I hope all is going well with you. You were just getting adjusted to your son being gone when I was last on line. I hope all is going well with that.

                                         Love and Blessings
