I had not seen a for a couple months plus. Decided to go over to his moms. It went fine. I gave her some Pictures I had promised her.
A came in, acted just fine. We went outside and had a nice talk. He is living in her garage. today he came out and he is going to do some stuff around here. fine with me.
It is comfortable. I have NO desire for him to stay here. I did not care when he left. I sort of feel blah or neutrual about him. I care very very much. But he is only a shadow of the man I married.
He has nothing to give me, he has nothing I want.
Well one thing is his disease has learned it cannot manipulate me or lie or whatever. That is refreshing. I told him I know his mom talks mean about me when I am not there.
He tells me this morn, she said the pictures smelled like a pig and threw them on the floor... I cracked up and laughed and laughed.
I have pet pigs. they do not smell. In fact they are cleaner than dogs or cats or any other animal kept in the house.. well cept maybe for tarantulas..
but crimany what a B.

I am happy for you that the visit went well. You have such strong skills in detatchment! What you explained in your post is what this program is all about. Detatching with Love. Plus, considering the source when it comes to mother in law is all a person can do. And of course, laugh it off. Also, as far as the program, you did take care of you! What a great example you are to others that the program works. :) It sounds like HP meant for this visit to happen and for you to feel calm when it was all over.

WOW Deblin I am applauding you. Your post just goes to show that how far one can take the steps of the program. I could relate to an awkard situation like that in my life and however uncomfortable it would be for me I can honestly say that no confrontation would happen now but my innerself would be screaming at the time. Your post gives such encouragement to a newbie like me when I recognise that the feeling of being ok is so much more rewarding then feeling so horible about being in certain situations.
Then, why is he there? This kinda like me putting a beer in front of me, dipping my finger in it, licking my finger and saying, I really do not have a desire for it. Denial is so precious.
