Tonight my daughter was talking to her grandpa on the phone he was asking her what she had for supper, having trouble saying spaghetti she "uuuggg hold on I will show you grandpa" proceeds to the kitchen and shows the phone to the left over spaghetti on the stove. LMAO
She is so funny on a daily basis and it is these little things that can make my day especially if it is one of the bad days.
Kids say the darndest things! I just love this post,,,lol :)
It also reminded me that when my kids were young,,all I had was a phone that was corded and the cord didn't go that far,,,wow time passes. Enjoy your daughter to the fullest while she is young.
Thanks for the smile you brought on my face during my tough day today.
What a cute story. Sometimes we seem to get caught up in life so deeply, that if we take the time and see the world through a childs eyes, things can seem so simple. I'm so glad you shared this. It gave me a chuckle.
shortly after posting the above my son was eating an orange and put to much in his mouth and gagged on it his dad started giving him heck for stuffing his mout to full. son got mad and said it was our fault and the tv's fault we started laughing at him and he got alittle frustrated and said dad when you get up in the morning i'm gonna kik your butt and mom when I wake you up i'm gonna kik your but... lol just cause we thought he was funny.
kids lol... so I like to sleep in.
This was emailed to me. Kids were asked the difference between their moms woek and thier dads work. "dad goes to work and comes home thats about it, mom goes to work and then comes home to work". lol
My 6 year old is the glue that keeps me together in this tornado we call alcoholism. I was getting upset because my a passed out, and I didn't have anyone to watch her while I went to my IR Al Anon meeting. I was in the process of getting really angry and laying into my a when he woke up and all that. My daughter came up to me and gave me a hug and said "That's ok, mommy, I didn't want you to go anyway.". Maybe it's God's way of showing me that I have been gone from home too much this week, and to take a break?
If not, it's still better than picking a fight with my a.
