RE: Sharing a Meal

I just wanted to tell you that this has been a good day. I feel aware and pretty balanced. I have come home and cooked for two nights, something that I really like to do because it is such a form of love to give my family. In recovery I found nuggets of balance and I love it when I have it. Like starting something and finishing it. Like doing "normal" things. Taking part, not hiding out. Contributing in something positive. I like to do crafts. I have even sold some of my crafts. Gosh, there is so much. I am going to give out candy tomorrow to the kids and watch something on TV with my husband. Just do things people do. I think that is why I love watching the news now. That is something lots of people do. When I am watching it I feel connected to lots of people at once. It is cool.

Anyway, I feel so good about this site. I feel so good about you that I wish I could have asked you to my dinner table tonight to share a meal. Yes, I think that is exactly what I would do if I could. Take care friend and be gentle to yourself. You deserve it.
Bella

Well thanks for asking and I wish we could have come

I too am thankful for time spent with family today. My brother and his wife came over with our 2 little "goblin" nephews. They looked so cute in their costumes.

It has also been a very good day for me. This site has been a shelter for me during those days when it has not been so good. I'm thankful that I found MIP
