Thankful today.....

Hi All and glad we are all together!!!

What are you thankful for today?  Too many times we forget to be grateful, and it is a lifesaver to remember to be grateful for what we have.  Mine are:

My family -
There have been a few times where I could have lost loving family members and I am so grateful they are all still here;

My pets -
My little dog Louie makes the silliest faces I have ever seen.  He is SO happy to see us when we get home!!!  Makes me happy just thinking about him!  Yes, his brother Coach is a sweet, good doggie, too.  Then Kitties: Bouchet the Water Boy (when we adopted him he wouldn't drink from a bowl, just the faucet drip); then Yoyo the old kitty (14)

My hometown -
Denver native and very proud to be.  My parents and grandparents were raised here, very beautiful and though changing, it is my home and I would never move anywhere else.  GO Rockies!!!

My sobriety -
I am three years + sober, and very happy to be.  My life was pretty crazy before, and I am pretty happy every single day now!!

My AH's sobriety -
One year this month.  Doing pretty well, and it is hopeful that he is happy now!!  I hated to see him miserable, drinking, dying.

A car - too many times I have ridden the bus;

Anyway, I could go on and on and on!  The point is, no matter what is going on, you can find much to be grateful for.  What are your lists????

Happy Friday!!!

Love, HeidiXXX

A wonderful reminder ((((hersh)))).  I was feeling down today.  I am glad I read your post.  I am most thankful for my four year old daughter, who I love beyond words.
