Well, I'm taking a break from my break today LOL. We have been walking the theme parks for the past 3 days for about 7 or 8 hours a day. I'm not sure my feet can take another minute. My legs ache from the knee down, my arms hurt even my fingers were hurting this morning! I think we are gonna hang around the hotel for a while, sleep, swim, eat.... We might go to the park later this afternoon and eat at Citywalk. The kids are beat too so you know that's rough when the kids are worn out! I got to see my aunt yesterday, she went to islands of adventure with us. Tomorrow she is taking us to a dinner show and I will see my cousin who I haven't seen in about 25 years. Saturday we roll out! I think I'm actually looking forward to getting back to work! Never thought I'd say that!
A day to rest is a great idea. I wish that I had planned a day of rest when we went to Disney a few years ago. We went for 6 straight days w/out a break. Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom, Typhoon Lagoon, MGM Studios, Sea World, Universal Studios. By the time we got to Sea World and Universal we were so tired, we didn't enjoy it and were at each others throats the whole time. We all hurt from head to toe and were utterly miserable. AND on top of that, we didn't get to enjoy all the fun things the resort had to offer b/c we were too busy w/the parks.
Take some time to relax girl and enjoy yourself. Have fun at the dinner show. We did a Pirate Dinner Show when I was there. It was a neat experience. Enjoy.
I am so happy for you that you are getting in a good holiday with your kids. I hope someday to get to the place of having a vacation. Every day I do footwork. I hope I will get to where you are!
