I know that sounds funny but actually it's work related. Most of you know I am a social worker, I work specifically with people who have HIV/AIDS. Today most everyone from my work is going out on a two day campaign to get folks tested. We will be travelling to all the worst neighborhoods and bribing people with a $5 McD's gift card to get tested for HIV. Pray I don't get shot before I leave to go on vacation this weekend! Just kidding (kinda) actually I'd rather have prayers that I can be convincing and get people to take the test.
Still no word from the A and I have no idea if he's in or out now which is kind of unnerving because I have that he could show up at my doorstep any moment feeling and like I am looking over my shoulder. He still knows where I work and knows he can find me here but doesn't know where I live so I'm not so nervous at home. His mom hasn't heard from him but he was supposed to be out 2 days ago. Strange for sure but I'm trying not to get stuck on those thoughts and just focus on getting through the next two hectic days at work and taking off for Orlando! Please think good thoughts for good weather there next week...

Maybe while you're out there doing the McD's thing you can treat yourself to some McD's. I love the McFlurries. Enjoy the silence. When he does call, it'll be like, Where did it go?
I know that feeling of being on tenderhooks. The A's new car which he brought with the proceeds from the truck has already broken down so I hear. He is supposed to be out of where he has been l iving for a few months (paid for by me). He has not of course moved yet. He could show up any minute but its unlikely.
He is supposed to move across country but is not doing anything much. I have not called him for a week or so and am relieved to finally be off the space of wondering. I am at the other end of the spectrum of waiting for him to go to jail. I have to remember there may be an end to that too. Hopefully like you I will have moved by then and made myself unavailable for him.
