My 20 year old overheard a story of an alcoholic needing a liver transplant. The guy had about 4 years of sobriety but is drinking again heavily. When my son heard that "so and so" was at the bar drinking, he said
"Don't you think that's totally disrespectful to the person who will die and be donating his liver?"
Ayup, it sure is, and I am glad he sees this. Kids at this age don't sugar coat much.
