Just for today I know I cannot make all my problems go away but I can push them to the side in my mind and think about other pleasant fun things I'd rather be doing like:
~Playing hookie from work and lounging by the pool ~Taking the kids to the beach and eating ice cream in the sand ~Curling up on my sofa with peace and quiet reading a good book with a hot mug of my favorite tea
I'd love to vent and b*%$#@ today to ya'll about my financial woes and the cleanup of my life but it won't do me any good right. Just knowing you all are here and some of us going through the same quick sand of problems I know we can make it through. Anyone care to add to the list of pleasant thoughts and getaways feel free. It gives me food for thought today. Wishing each of you a happy, peaceful, joyous day with lots of good times on the horizon.

I am looking at taking a 2nd job for a while. I can do some work in the holiday season. Last year I couldn't do it I had huge blocks on it. This year is dfiferent. I think the program of responsibiity is sinking in. I do know for me it does get better. I know I hurt terribly and I know so much of my financial issues are all about him. Soon he will be in jail I know it in my bones so that will be one worry over with. I no longer need worry about fearing he's killed someone.
Hi Twin mom and family, Boy, this was a God-send post... my mind has been nothing but full of my problems w/ my AH today and I know I haven't been present (only in body, not in mind) with the kids today... I hate that.
I think I'd rather be at the pool with the kids and I can do that... so....I'm fixing an early dinner with the hope we can go, just the three of us. Their dad has said he's going to a meeting... so, hopefully, that will give him the space he needs and hopefully he'll hear what he needs to hear. Hopefully, I'll be able to get a little space and glean some joy from the kids.

What a great post... and a great way to start your day over. In my mind I am not droning away at work.... I am hiking in the mountains... canoeing with a friend on still waters.... whatever I want to do.
No budget... no schedule - just do it!
