Slogans

Hello everyone,
I am doing a workshop later on this year in which we will be making God Boxes.  Would you please share your favorite slogan or saying you have heard in meetings that I might print out for use on the boxes.
Thanks
Barb

My signature is my favorite saying

"No matter what me & my God are going to be Ok - even better than OK"

I also love:

Progress not perfection

Breathe, Just Breathe

Acceptance doesn't mean agreement

Mobirdie - I could go on for hours on this topic - but these are my top few - the ones I recite when the overwheming emotions come over me.

Sounds like it will be an awesome workshop.

Rita

One of my favorites is:

"I came...I came to...I came to be"

Hope you have a great workshop!

Yours in recovery,
Leetle

This is a good topic. I have a few. The two most favorite ones for myself is "Let it Begin with me" and "One Day at a Time" Before finding Al anon I was always consumed with my A's life and not mine. I thought I had everything under control. I am the type of person that would always think ahead and not concentrate on the day that I am on. It was always what if's and so on. I saw myself planning for the future or at least thinking about it, instead of just focussing on the moment, hour, or day.

Since finding Alanon I am learning to put me first and focussing on the day, One Day at a Time. I don't worry about tomorrow, or next week or evan next month like I use to. There are so many other slogans that I can comment on but these two I work on every day. It helps me remember that I am not God and that I have to turn my life over to him as I undrstand him and things will become easier as time heals.

Good luck in your workshop. I hope it is successsful

Don't make plans, make choices

Feel the fear and do it anyway

I am good enough

The one that gets me thru most situations is
This too Shall Pass
I know that what ever it is ,how bad or good it is that I will never go thru the same thing , with the same people at the same time again .

What you think of me is none of my business

Let go and let God

You can't think your way to positive acting, you have to act your way to positive thinking.

"Courage is Fear that has said its prayers"

"Laughter is the beginning of healing"

"Think!"

Fake it till you make it

this too shall pass

I don't know if there is a slogan with the theme of just sit back and watch and do nothing but that has really worked for me.
