I don't know if we have any MIP members that are in the Minneapolis area, but probably some will have friends or family members in the area.
Just wanted to send out good thoughts & prayers for all those affected by this horrible accident.
As a DOT (Dept of Transportation) employee, my co-workers were some of the ones that went to inspect the bridges/roads in the New Orleans area after Hurricane Katrina. It was very difficult for them - due to bodies, etc. Our people aren't really trained for that type of shock.
When doing those inspections they are ready to see snakes, alligators, turtles, fish, etc - but the other is very hard for them.
So, please keep them in your prayers also. Prayerfully most of the people were rescued from the vehicles and this won't be an issue for those workers as they go to start inspecting the damaged areas.
