Venting... well maybe not

(((Everyone))))

I just jumped on here because I had a twitch in the nerve between my eyebrow, so bad you could see it.  Yep it's got to do with the A and I could vent away about what is going on but I was interupted by sirens which meant the start of our neighborhood parade.

I love my neighborhood, and the people here.  The sheriff and Oakdale FDP & Rescue squad make a heck of a racket.  smile  But the best part is the kids, mine were up at 8 decorating their bikes and scooters then off to the neighbor's house to work on "outfits"  -- I face painted my son and then they were gone.  So anyhow, when I jumped up to watch the kids I wasn't sure what I was going to see.   My Daughter was dressed a 4th of July Pirate w/ mustache LOL  zipping along on her scooter w/ her best gal pal Clown w/ huge orange wig. biggrin

Our neighorhood only has about 100 homes, we're outside the city and everyone participates so there aren't many "watcher" LOL.  So my yard gets filled with candy that the kids throw because there are so few of us who aren't actually in the parade.  The kids are so much fun.

So anyhow, my brow nerve is calming down and I'm so glad to actually get to share something good.  Kids are what it's all about, looking forward to the fireworks this evening ...that's alway a neighborhood thing too.  I'm going to let HP handle the A, got my boundries in place and plan on having a wonderful day. aww

Happy 4th !!

Luna

LOL now that's got to be progress, starting out to vent and you end up with this list of wonderful things to enjoy and be grateful for!

This town also may have 100 families in it, and the whole town gets involved in the parade. I live about 4 miles out but I can still hear the whole thing :D . I'm looking forward to listening to the sounds of a bunch of people having fun. By about six or seven pm, though, the sounds will "change" into rowdy hollering and ATV revving as the beer begins to flow.

I'll be here dragging the dogs out from under the deck once the firecrackers start in. I invited the AA couple I'm close to to bring the grandkids out to see the baby goats and chicks running around, and who knows, they may drag me into town with them for whatever festivities there are.

This Independence Day is a personal one for me . . . the A is still out there but he's not here, and my sense of freedom from him is definitely worth celebrating.

That sounds so cute. I wish I was there to see it. There's a thunder storm going on here in Southwest Florida and hopefully it will stop for fireworks tonight.
I'm glad your nerve between your eyes calmed down (that made me laugh though) A's can be real jerks especially on a holiday so now that you KNOW that, don't let him get to you and live as if he were dead. Have a great holiday regaurdless okay? Mwah. xo

((((((((((((((((((Luna)))))))))))))))))))))))))))),

All I can say is WOW.  You are an amazing mother.  You had the courage to change and your beautiful children are a living testament because you cared enough about yourself and them to want a different life.

Way to go Girlfriend.  I am so proud of you and so happy for those kiddos.

love ya,
your "lark"
