information, ideas, feelings, problems and solutions on a personal
level.
I just took a look at the activeboard.com's (who we purchase our message board from each month) stats information on their own site and what I found out is that they have 149,285 forums or message boards that are used for a variety of endeavors. And out of that hugh figure, this Al-Anon board is their sixth most actively used board. **************** Reviewing the same stat page, I also discovered that this board ranks as their second largest board with the most members. Keep in mind that this is out of 149, 285 other message boards they provide to other types of users. ***************** Sure shows we aren't a weak bunch here if its true that strength comes in numbers

On the one hand, that is an amazing stat! We are strong in our togetherness and fellowship.
On the other hand, it is truly indicative of the epidemic proportions of affected people in our country. Granted, we have a few other countries represented, but mostly we are Americans. Epidemic. Alcoholism. A documentary suggested that "booze" was to be the 3rd scourge of mankind, after Opium and Cocaine. I find much truth in that.
