I just would like to say.. I have been a member of your site for a year, I have been glad of the site for many reasons......
My Life was a complete maze, before I got Alanon..I have now been a member of the fellowship for 16 months. I go to f2f and Mip...I am an OP in the room and I love it. I get a feeling of belonging in here, and most importantly I feel "Useful" to people again..... I have also opened my own f2f in Scotland, and thats a result of being in the room on most days.....
You had a MIPAthon in here a few months ago ,and THAT was what the 12 steps are all about...Wither it be AA, NA, Al-Anon, etc
I admire your willingness to help others. your willingness to share all your experience, strength and hope....I heard you sharing that weekend and I was in awe at some of the things you had came through in your life. But as you know, we come to the 12 steps because we are sick, mentally, physically and spiritually..We are in desperate need of help....
The programme works differently for everyone, and as a result of that. some people will always be sicker than others.

Yea, and I second that. I want to say to you John, if you are the owner of this board....that I was at the end of my rope. I was alone with three children with tons of thoughts that were not sane running through my mind. I did not have a sitter so I could not go to f2f meetings and this site was ALL I had. This board pulled me through a really dark valley and pushed me into a light. I will always love this board for that. I am sorry that someone is doing this to you. I hope we can be the light that gets you through this. Stay tough, this board is worth fighting for!!
