I have watched the first of a four part series on addiction. It was an HBO documentary....but I don't have HBO. I am getting 1 dvd at a time through Netflix. Anyway, I found the first one very interesting and informative. It goes into the fact that A'ism is a brain disease. It also talks alot about 12 step recovery programs.

If you get a chance you might want to rent the dvd.

Thank you for that tip. I didn't realize you could rent that series. I wanted to watch it when HBO aired it but do not have access. I will pass this information on to family & friends. Thanks again.

Have you seen the brain imaging stuff yet? To me that was really cool. It really explains a lot! I enjoyed the series!
