I have a hard time reading in red and most other colors too. In art history, I was told that red is a mixture of energy and passion.
Just as a note, greens and browns might be nice to use, they denote healing and dependability.

I find almost all coloured type very hard to read. However, it is a little easier if you highlight it.

Another point with this .... is that * if any of our members are colorblind... they can not see the

letters at all

(if in red , trans. yellow or that hot pink one ) ...
just a tad' of helpful information so others might think twice before deciding to choose red or a translucent color ... as a posting or share color.
