Higher Power doesn't always wrap presents in pretty paper...sometimes miracles happen when I receive things that don't look like presents.
What other people think of me is none of my business. This means that if I do my best to work my program, the effort I put forth is gonna show on my outsides. I don't have to worry about what other people think of me because I know inside I am doing my best. I want to stay true to myself, to the real me, not to some facade that I erect to make me look good. HP didn't say I had to be perfect, just working towards recovery the best I know how.

Amen to that Miss Senora!!! There's been some talk of gossip on the board lately...Not sure about who, about what or why. (pssst..If any of it is about me...So be it. CUZ i DON'T CARE!! LOL!!)
I hope most feel the same about this nonsense. ....and I hope people can find a better use of their precious time.
Holding on to resentments and offering out more in return can only lead to spiritual discord. I've seen this happen and it's an ugly thing. The longer it is held on to, the uglier it gets on the inside. In this way, we are the cause of our own suffering. You can tell if you are doing it by the way you feel inside. I choose not to sign up for it.

Thanks senora for those words of wisdom. Remiding myself "I'm doing the best I can at that time" is something I ALWAYS need to rememeber but usually forget when I need it! Thanks to others in the program I get my necessary reminders from them & you!
