Sponsor conflict

I of course left out the part of the conversation that disturbed me the most because it is literally stuck inside my head. he said that he wanted to drag me behind his truck. This is what I had found so disturbing,  knowing our background. Those are pretty strong words.

I replied to your other post below this one. Just consider the source and let it go in one ear and out the other. He is not worth your energy or time. It sounds like he got defensive and that is his problem. Concentrate on you and your daughter. Serenity

Thank you so much! Thank my higher power for online alanon! I couldn't find a meeting in my area at the time and this was the perfect thing, just what I needed. Signs that my higher power is at work! I cannot express in words how much love that I have felt within this message board. I have taken in all of the words of wisdom and have decided to, give myself a hug, let it go and concentrate on me and my daughter. I have talked things over with my husband and he said that he has decided that he needs to set a boundary with his sponsor. My husband was loving and caring during our conversation as was I (Progress not Perfection) again higher power at work in both of our corners.

What a wonderful outcome to a bad situation. I am so happy you and your husband were able to communicate and come up with some ideas to help your family. Keep up the good work. HP is good in our lives! Serenity  PS,, from my experience, the kids grow up way to fast. Do the best you can now cause there is really no do-overs.
