Is there something magical about your one year aniversary in the program? Yesterday marked 1 year to the day. So what all happened yesterday?
- Chaired my first F2F meeting. Not by choice, everyone else who showed up on that rainy miserable day was either new to the group or late. So I grabbed the book and started reading. It went ok, and I felt good because the new people were concearned we would just not have a meeting with so few people. I assured them that even if it was just me and them we would carry on because "I" need it. LOL
- My AW who filled with despiration and dispare declared that today she was going to talk to the outpatient rehab in town. I told her I thought that was very brave. Now I am not getting too worked up either way, but I hope she goes. If she signs up it is 3 hours a night 6-9, 4 nights a week for 6 weeks and they are a 12 step shop. I have heard good things about them. One of those nights I think the family is supposed to go to. So we will see.
- I heard my brother is coming back from over seas very soon. He is an Air Boy.
All in all, quite a great day!

Dear rtexas - You remain an inspiration to me. I am glad you stepped up to the plate at the f2f meeting so it didn't get cancelled. I am sure you are an inspiration to those folks who were able to make it to that meeting that night. Way to go! Sincerely, QOD
I'm sure you can clearly see today where you came from, and where you are now. This program is really is a blessing, but it takes being real and working hard. You have obviously done that with yourself and all of us. Keep it up, you sound very healthy and positive.

I have now been here more than a year too and feel so much different. My life is not much better on many levels (the A can still manipulate me) but I feel so much more hopeful. I have huge obstacles in front of me. I feel much more pleasant and manageable about my life.
