This darling cutie is my Skinny Pig, a hairless guinea pig! Her name is mazylou. I just love her! She is about 5 weeks old. feels like a sorta thicker ballon. lol When ya hold her she kinda sticks to your  hands!

I tell people she kept falling asleep during her photo shoot. she is very affectionate and likes to sleep under my sweat shirt. She has a friend who is 6 weeks old who is a black Peruvian G pig. meaning her hair will get verrrrry long, her name is Tutz. They are spoiled rotten. have a two story cage up on the counter. I pick them a ton of organic greens from up here.

They also have a warm chick light when it is cold up here.

After retiring from rescue I honestly did not know what to do up here! I loved the chores at the sanctuary.Decided to get a guinea pig or two. When researching compulsively...I saw this naked pink thing!!!

searched skinny pig breeders in oregon, found one, emailed her, borrowed the $ I know I know, and she was delivered in three day I think it was. The gal was going to a g. pig fair so she dropped her off!

So well I am getting low on food...haha I don't care, I alway have food, just not the good stuff, uno. It was worth it.

I am hoping to be able to get a black Skinny someday. I would get a male but I hate keeping them separate and we know what happens if they are married.....

Thanks u all for the comments. lol sometimes I get on the discussion things onCL uno, being a Jehovha's Witness you can imagine I get called a wacko or whatever, actually nothing real horrible. But I always agree with them. I mean what fun is life if we lose that kid in us and don't act a bit eccentric and believe out side the box.

Besides if you know anything about the Bible people thought Jesus was off too!

So its a compliment. So now with the g pigs and feeding all kinds of birds, chipmunks, squirrels, skunks and who knows what else I am kept busy! Not to mention my 6 dogs, one cat and one kittensoon to be an oranic mouse catcher....

Those are just precious!!!! I showed my husband and he said, "EWWWW!!!!" - I just laughed and told him that now I want one. He has to put his foot down sometimes or I'd have a small zoo in the house. :)

Glad you have your pets - animals are one of the most amazing and wonderful things about life! :)

LOL what cuties! We just got a kitten, so that makes 3 cats at our house...But she is so darn cute, but such a little B%*^H! LOL...she doesn't take any crap from the older two males...and she brought fleas with her so we had to put on the frontline plus...but its fun to have them around :)

The first hairy picture is absolutely hilarious.  How absolutely adorable.  The others look kind of wierd with no hair.   Well actually really wierd.  To each their own though. I have a large room full of reptiles.

We have a bearded dragon, 2 chameleons, a chinese water dragon, two snakes, leopard gekos, 3 praying mantis as well as three mini daschunds and a long haired guiney pig.

People look at us strange when we say one of our reptiles are sooooo cute.   They just don't get it.

You guys crack me up!

Gail, almost cute eh???

My best friend told me they were some kind of ugly. I told him to remember HE is going bald! Nightmares?? I just read on my skinny pig fb group one gal puts a fleece blanket on her bed when her husband is gone and sleeps with hers! lol

Heck w/him leaving,mine slept with piglets and a lamb in diapers!

OH clep I love them all and got told to quit kissing my iguana and snake! Aren't praying mantis funny!?

omgosh You, haha,I read your post here and geez stinkpot, stinker, tink,spitfire all those are her, attacks my Great Pyr!! He just growls a bit and says,"yea right!'"

I put on fb how she wraps around my PopPop who is poodle and shi tzus hairy legs and will not let go,  he goes nuts trying to figure out what is wrong with his leg! Walks in circles. He acts like a puppy, not very bright at all! Stinker chases him all over the house!

Her and my little black poodle play like littermates. YES they make me laugh so hard!This kitten will be a great Mouser!

white rabbit I agree. We all know the gut wrenching pain we go thru loving A's. We need the simplicity of animals love, and fun. There are so many reasons they are here.

My ex AH would bring things home....for me of course. No one ever bothered telling me no about animals. It would be like telling me I could not have my arm! lol

Its funny as most men are not attracted to them. Not many living things I don't like or love to watch. Alligators kinda freak me out. Love to be around the ones who don't bite humans. I think it is a salt water one?

There is NEVER a time I am sitting or in bed that they are not around me. right now I blocked the door so they cannot get in. I have one of those cool screens that hang. So they all gather as close to the gate I block them.

Stink is worn out from Happy, she is on my shoulder, Happy is righth next to me....

Beautiful day up here and I am suppose to have company!!! (c: hugs!!!

You mention your HP and pets. It sure seems to me that pets are a gift from my HP. Mine have never spoken a cross word to me. Glad to see you enjoying your gifts.

A cute old reptile? That might be me. lol

Gail ya got me laughing and snorting! I never know what I am going to say next as I never know what is going to happen next.And of all the people I love to share with, here is the best!

I know how dang serious it all gets with A's in our lives. I had to shake my head and think GADS I have not laughed in so long!

Even my mother and I laughed and had some great times when she had cancer. Life is messy and it can be funny.

Well I am SURE when the skunks I am releasing up here start coming to the deck to eat.....

I have a glider I sleep on.But I was thinking, seriously would one of these creatures crawl on me or under the covers???

It has always driven me nuts when people would say are you "getting rid" of your animals??? NO I my adopt out some rescues but I don't get rid of anything!

When I thought I would be homeless the first time there was no question I would live in the Barn.NO way was I going to lose Estersue my 1,000 pound farm pig!

Even this time I was serious, the dogs go where I do. I was SURE of it.

Living with someone who is an addict. The disease just chips away at our person, our love for things, our passions, our wondering and curiosity. Addicts seem to put down everything that is simple and good.

Probably becuz many cannot relate to the joy in it.

I remember my friend when I first met her. After awhile she says you are so funny, you talk about Barlow (my turkey) like he is a person, and how his wife feefee is so nice. You don't even realize you talk so different about things! haha

For  me having 6 dogs is natural, that two wear sweaters is natural. Or having pigs in the house is nothing.

When I was a young teen and up I walked everywhere,my dog was taught to sit and stay outside. I didn't think anything of it. How many dogs do you see staying without a leash. I didn't think twice about it.

I think we all have this energy in us but something tries to kill it. Like putting our light out. My first A and I used to take our kids somewhere and look under rocks all day. Or we went where there were mushrooms and say if they were sponge or gills.

I love wonder. Kids have that, or hopefully they do. Its like a vacation away from the world.
