Courage to Change March 21

In today's reading in Courage to Change, a jogger is nearing the end of a run, and is quite tired. The jogger, who loves the beach, must decide to cross the dunes blocking their view of the beach, which would require more effort, or stay on the flat and easy path, but miss the view of the beach. The jogger listened to an inner nudge and crossed over the dunes despite being so tired. Because of this, they saw a spectacular sunset over crashing waves on the beach that they would have otherwise missed. Because the jogger listened to a power greater than themself, they saw the beauty that they otherwise would have missed.

Today's reminder: Logic may dictate a certain course of action while my inner voice urges me in a different direction. I may have an easier time when I follow the dictates of logic, convenience, or past experience, but am I cheating myself out of something much better? Today I will pause at a crossroad and listen for my Higher Power's voice.

Today's Quote: "The intellect has little to do on the road to discovery. There comes a leap in consciousness, call it intuition or whatever you will, and the solution comes to you and you don't know how or why." Albert Einstein

-----------------------------

I like today's reading because it is a reminder for me that I do not need to force solutions or do what others think I should. Sometimes the most logical isn't the right answer for me. When I am in tune with my own voice, and I listen to little nudges in one direction or another, things work out for me far better than I could have hoped. I have found that life is not easy, but if I take the time to listen for the guidance of a power greater than myself, things work out as they should, and in a way that I could not have predicted.

Good Morning Skorpi I love this reading. Prior to program I was always looking for the short cut and never looked around to appreciate the wonder of this beautiful world. The runner choosing to run by the beach made me smile, as i have done just that and know the power of the sunset on the water.
Love the quote from Albert Einstein-- I know that many times I have made choices that seemed outlandish but that turned out to be perfect. i do believe they were Spiritual Experiences and a true gift from HP
Thanks for your service. and enjoy this day

Happy Hump Day all - thanks to both for your ESH and shares. Thank you skorpi for the daily and your service. I certainly went for the short cuts and not necessarily because I was lazy but more that I felt hurried, stressed, unworthy and no joy in life.

I also know that when I am able to set aside my own ego and thoughts and instead follow the path my HP has laid out for me, things turn out as they should. For the record, the beach brought two special people to mind for me - Betty above and a gal pal here who visits her sister in NC and makes sure she get's to the beach daily no matter what!

I've been reasonably productive today and have a few more things to get done before softball tonight....make it a lovely day all!

Thank you for your service, Skorpi!

I absolutely LOVE this reading today! I used to be very good at listening to my inner voice. That all was overshadowed with living for so long with an addictive partner. I am now re-learning to listen to my inner voice, my intuition, and to believe in it!!

Finally raining here! Woot!

Make it a great Wednesday MIP family, no matter what you are doing today!
