Courage to Change March 9

According to the index in c2c, today's reading falls under the topic "Confusion." The reading focuses on the confusion around what is hp's will for the reader and self will. The reading goes on to tell us that doubt is an unavoidable companion to spiritual seeking and encourages exploration and challenging my perceptions. It offers the reminder that feelings of desperation, pushing, trying to force an outcome is can be an indication of exercising self will. A sense of calmness can be an indication of hp's will for us. It affirms that waiting for clarity can provide certainty. It suggests reaching out to others for wisdom and guidance if confused about making a choice.

The reading tells us that we may choose to make a choice that trust the god of our understanding, our higher power we can go forward and make a choice even in uncertainity because we know a loving hp is caring for us and more will be revealed with time of hp's will for us. However, One Day at a Time suggests we not see uncertainty as a fault. It can be used as an opportunity to grow in the program and understand myself and my relationship with my hp even more :)

I like that this reading reminds me that I don't need all the answers today. More will be revealed to me by my hp odaat.

The quote is -

"There lives more faith in honest doubt, Believe me, than in half the creeds."  Alfred Lord Tennyson

TT - thank you so much for your service and this daily....there is no greater gift for me, right now, with what's consuming my mind and life than coming here and being filled with literature, shares and ESH from others who are working it!

I considered uncertainty a 'defect' until I came to recovery - I have since decided it's an asset as it helps me pause and consider best next steps instead of impulsively just 'doing it'...

(((Hugs)))
