I just want to give y'all an update on my mom. She is getting guardianship from the state. I will not be responsible for her. It is now out of my hands. I thank HP for looking out for her.

Some might think it isharsh including family members. I just need to know that I am doing the right thing. She us very ill.

(((Kathleen))) - sending you positive thoughts and prayers. Hopefully with this arrangement, she will get the support and help she needs. My son went into state custody for a while as a juvenile - he was out of control and the courts decided we could not care for him (he would not comply with us, the law, etc.) He did get help and support and made some positive changes - had a full plan that had to be followed/completed before they would consider a different set-up. Hang in there!

Kathleen-I'm all for helping others as long as it is not damaging to my mental or physical well-being. Your family/friends may not understand, but they are not walking in your shoes. It sounds like HP has your back. Enjoy your day, Lyne
