High anxiety!

I am taking a trip with my mother to visit my sister.  My mother is elderly and wants to visit my sister in alaska one more time.  So I volunteered to go with her.  Now I know its a very dumb idea.  My mother is an alcholi and severely codependent and nasty with her tongue at times.  My sister and I have suffered much verbal abuse because of her.  Mother has already started drinking and making phone calls and being sooo needy.  My anxiety is going thru the roof.  My sister wI'll stick up.for my mother and drink with her.  Why oh why did I agree to this.

Minniegirl))) I would check out alanon face to face meetings in Alaska and also remember that nothing is written in stone -- You have the right to change your mind.
You can always connect with MIP on the trip and let us know how it is going,
Positive thoughts on the way

I agree with Hotrod that you have the right to change your mind at any time. Can she not go by herself or does she need assistance getting on and off the plane? Sending you well wishes.
