Moving on my mind

hi everybody ,been missing my home group here, missing you all,I've been checking and reading a lot in the aca online group, very awesome I saw myself over n over in the laundry lists, scary at 1st.i accepted it,and went on about my wanting to learn more.ive also had moving on my mind last few days,im 53 years old and 2 kids both married and gone moved from here, nothing keeping me here in this town anymore, been living here in this same house for 14 yrs ,done a lot of work to it and put money into it over the years, but I got to checking out apts for rent which I rent this house so ill have nothing to lose there either, the apts I looked at in the same town my son lives in were really nice and convenient and homey,no mowing thank gosh all yard work is done thats music to my I ears, and benefits to these apts with in ground pools ,and lots more.so Monday I can call some of these places up and see what's available, thinking just on a one bedroom only,is all I'll need just get a couch with a bed, simple.no more stresses with anybody of my foo moving in,won't be allowed.problem solved.its not my kids I have to stress over its siblings and xbf I have moving in on me and then take over my home inside and outside,I'm so tired and not getting any younger I deserve to be able to enjoy my life and do as I want when I want ,ill have peace hopefully,I've never lived in a apt, even thought about maybe a duplex .i dunno I guess I have a lot of options there for sure........hugs lu

You sound good Lu, taking care of yourself
And focusing on you and your healing And
growing.

Glad ACA is helping you on your recovery
journey too

I love having my own apt and not sharing it
If i needed to downsize i would go studio Or
rent a room.

Sending you healing hug

(((((( Lu )))))))

HI LU I love living in an apartment I donot have to worry about the plumber, the lawn or the electrician All I do is call the management company and it is all fixed. Positive thoughts on the way.

That sounds like music to my ears Betty,I e never lived in a apartment just knowing all the yard work will be done sounds great, frees my time up a lot to work on my priorities,I'd rather be going and loafing about than stuck in a house as big as this house I'm in ,lots to do here ,more for someone that loves staying at home and with a child, was real reason I moved here 13 yrs ago with my son,now he is grown ,married and moved away,so I'm not giving up on finding me a one bedroom place ,there seems to be a 2 yr waiting list here on apts, putting it all in my hp hands I've done all I know to do at this point,I'm good right now for I love my house, just don't want all the yard work that goes with it and it's more than I need .time to downsize.......hugs lu
