My father did fall off the wagon but supposly he stopped drinking. I haven't been able to bring myself to a meeting. Before I got to talk to him my husband is still angry at my father. Which I can understand. He is still want to pursue a PFA on my father. I think he is upset that I won't do one. What my father did was awful. He shouldn't have call and threaten or said those words. I think it punishment enough that he isn't allowed to call the house or visit my house. I fell the PFA will set my father back. My father did call and apologize to me and I called him 2 days ago and he was feeling sick from the bender he had. So now right now my husband isn't happy with me and I'm still upset with him for pursuing the pfa. I feel like I have to sneak around to see my father . I am at a lost.
((ladylisa)) Please search out alanon meetings and attend. You will break the isolation caused by living in the insanity and will be given constructive tools to live by. Tiptoeing or sneaking round is not the answer.
