Thank you everyone for being so open and sharing your stories with me when I made my first post a few days ago. It got me through until I was able to get to a meeting. All of you who told me to get to a meeting were right. I have a lot of learning to do but I am so grateful!

Good on you, the first brave step is to get in there.

Its scary yet you can just sit and listen to all the
Esh. Thats all i did for a long time, read the literature,
Buy the three daily readers. Listen with an open mind
And willing heart.

I found change very hard to do, after change came
My growing. Its all a process that takes time and effort.
Learning all about the disease and learning how to help
Ourselves get better with the love of alanon and all
Its wonderful tools.

Isn't it wonderful to find you are not the "only one"? They should get better and better as you learn the vernacular and the people!
