So I have been asking for MONTHS now for my daughter to get EAP appointments for her anxiety.  My X carries the insurance and he should since that's all he does.  Well that SOB X of mine is an idiot .. LOL and SMH.

My daughter has refused to talk to him about the appointments and push came to shove and there was a horrible tragedy at the school a young man on her wrestling team killed himself (that is not the official report, it's pretty obvious and no one will talk about it hmm .. and we wonder why there is the dysfunction there is??).  None of us need to know the details however it has left the school kids very confused the rumors are running really bad and I have watched my daughter struggle with her concern for other friends.  We had a pretty heavy duty conversation about suicide and the ramifications of it for all concerned and how sad that anyone reaches a point where their pain is so great that they do not see another way out. 

So she sends an text to him and his response is to think that something is wrong at home and she can come back and live with him .. LOL .. umm NO.  We had that conversation as well she loves it here in TX the opportunities for her are HUGE compared to IL.  Anyway, he is going to set the appointments sense apparently he's taking her .. LOL.  I sent a text (2) back to back and just said .. look .. you can't make appointments without discussing them with me and I would rather deal with the Dr. myself.  I was very nice and clear I explained what was going on, I explained that he is NOT a guardian he has visitation so NO he makes NO decisions regarding either child's health.  If he would like to discuss it directly with ME he is more than welcome to. 

Don't pick up the phone and communicate with me immediately jump to the fact the kids are miserable .. LOL .. umm DUDE they are coming to visit and DO NOT want to deal with you!! 

Anyway, his thinking is still distorted and my poor daughter looked at me because I TOLD her exactly what would happen in terms of he would respond back to her and NOT to me.  She says mom I'm so sorry you are right when it comes to him.  He just refuses to be a grown up.  I just try not to interject to much and do a LOT of head shaking. 

On a more positive note .. I went out on a date .. I know me who was totally unwilling .. had a fantabulous time.  The guy is not someone I would normally date however I'm so glad I took the risk and just did it.  First off incredibly kind, nice, I find him very attractive, and should I mention funny .. holy cow.  He's a big kid.  I love it because the two of us together cause some havoc while we were out in a very playful way.  I love that.  I love having someone to play with who understands good fun. 

I am having a difficult time being patient and waiting for the next date which probably won't be for a while we are both going to have to make time out of our schedule.  That could be challenging ... I went from no plans on Thursday to my weekend is booked completely.  I did laugh something he said was I like the fact you have a life and my comment back was well can you hang on because my life really does take some twists and turns.  I think I don't have plans and then oops I do .. LOL.  I did look at my life and I book up fast. 

Son is at a sleep over birthday party, I have to pick him up from at 4pm take him to my girlfriends house he's spending the night there while my beautiful daughter and I hit the Jason Aldine (sp?) concert.  It's her first BIG concert and I get to take her I am so excited.  A girlfriend of mine her boyfriend won tickets and they can't use them.  Another g/f of mine and I were going to go however my plans got jacked and then she went and made other plans.  Everything fell into place at that point for me and then she couldn't go .. LOL.  So it just worked out this way.  Sunday we are literally off to the horse races I can't wait .. my g/f is a hoot!  So that should be a LOT of fun. 

It's very crazy and I love it!!  At some point I am going to have to behave and stay home.  I guess this next week it's suppose to rain all week .. UGH .. it's better than being 100 degrees and humid.
