Heart beats and unusual feeling in chest after Trauma

My A is in recovery in India. I'm recovering too. Experiencing withdrawals about A :), but quite in control now.

Now, I had a very traumatic day at the end .. before my A was "admitted". My heart beat at around maybe 160 beats per minute continuously for about 4-5 hours.. probably high blood pressure too. I was traveling to meet my very sick mom and my A gave me about 1000 rings, 300 calls and so I had to come back by bus after getting down from a train half way in the opposite direction.
The evening on that day was great, I guess it was the adrenaline, and I had a great day in club competition at sports. But the next day onwards, some strange beats. Like, one in 15 heart beat is slightly out of sync. 15 normal beats and one strange or near-miss beat

But sometimes even now, after 7 weeks, I do not feel too comfortable about my throat to Chest area although nothing has happened. Some basic blood tests have come out alright (cholesterol etc), but I'm yet to get heart tests done (basic).

Again, Question is, is this normal? Just anxiety? Excess phlegm from super extra stressful situation? Any suggestions on what tests are recommended or what is the best way to find out what this is...

By the way, I am a sportsperson, and I have these strange beats these days after i finish my workout and especially after my workout and while driving .. some small sinking feeling in the chest

Manas, I would go to your doctor and have them check you out. Wishing you well!

I agree with Deb Consult a Doctor and remember to explain your reactions to the incessant telephone calls and your concern for Mom.
The serenity prayer helps me in time of stress. Positive thoughts on the way.

Thanks, I guess the best thing to do is to get the rest of the tests done!

Yes, sure I will! Once I'm done with my procrastinating about these remaining tests .
I got the others done because there is what is called home service and they draw blood in about 30 seconds, reports in mail in 1-2 days.
