MY FRIEND TOOK ME TO THE HOUSE WHERE MY ALMOST XAH LIVES SO I COULD GET SOME PAPERS AND A CHECK ETC. i WAS EXPECTING TO SEE THINGS WERE BAD AFTER 2MTHS AWAY BUT NOT PREPARED TO SEE HIM SO VERY GAUNT,YELLOW,THIN WEAK AND UNABLE TO COMMUNICATE. i WAS HYSTERICAL CRYING AFTER I LEFT. BESIDES THE 2 CATS I LEFT WITH HIM HAD DIRTY LITTER AND DIRT AND CRAP WAS EVERYWHERE. PILES OF PAPER EVERYWHERE ETC..THE SMELL... ETC
BY THE TIME I GOT HOME, I WAS SO DISTRESSED. NO ONE IN HIS FAMILY HAS REACHED OUT TO HIM AND IM ALMOST POSITIVE ILL BE ATTENDING HIS FUNERAL SOON :[ . HE JUST STOPPED CARING FOR HIMSELF A LONG TIME AGO. HE REACHED OUT HIS RAIL THIN ARMS TO HUG ME AS I LEFT AND DIDNT UTTER A WORD..
I CALLED MY BOYFRIEND WHO IS INCREDIBLY LOYAL AND KIND AND HE RUSHED OVER TO MY HOUSE TO COMFORT ME AND LISTEN TO MY SORROW.
EVEN THOUGH THINGS WERE AWFULLY BAD THE LAST 5 YRS OF 25 I SPENT WITH XAH, HE IS HUMAN AND THIS IS TRAGIC. NOT COUNTING ALL THE THINGS I AM OBLIGATED TO DO [PAPERWORK,DEBTS,HOUSE ETC]
KNOW THAT THIS IS PROBALLY ANTI ALANON BUT IM GOING TO CALL HIS SISTER TODAY.

I see no issue in passing along your findings to a family member. When I have difficult decisions to make relative to my qualifiers, I often ask myself if it were another person, what would I do?
It's hard to watch those we care for suffer, no matter the circumstances. Hang in there!

(((Alyce))) I am so very sorry This is indeed a dreadful disease. I am sending prayers and positive thoughts your the way. In a similar situation I have called the police and asked for a"Wellness Check" -- they did and toolkthe person to the hospital where they discharged themselves and it was a waste of time al around. Keep taking care of yourself.
