It's not all roses I'm going to say that .. it is so much better than it was and the kids and I are literally living one day at a time. I can't begin to tell you all what it has meant to us. It is totally scary, thrilling and full of wonder every day .. so much better than dealing with the XAH .. lol .. and probably a little more drama filled I will have to address that issue in a step 4 at some point .. oi.
My mom is still wanting me to move to CA .. I can't imagine not living in TX at this point I really feel like I'm home and I love it. I'm learning my way around. Have some job interviews. The kids schools are amazing!! I'm completely floored at this point! I mean seriously .. my son's school has as many people as his whole school from k - 12 just in 6 - 8th .. he was sooo excited about school and is having a time of things with his eyeballs wide open .. lol.
My daughter's school we won't talk about 2k .. that is literally 2x the size of their old school again this is just 9-12 .. crazy! I'm so proud of her. She's so excited about the opportunities that are there right now.
It's soooo cool! I'm interviewing for a temp to perm job tomorrow wish me luck .. I'm concerned about the drive however .. I think it could be a really good fit and now I need to find a place closer to the job that I can still stay in the same school district. The money is sooo much better .. for the kids I will make the drive. I have some other irons in the fire. Yes .. it's scary because no money coming in and just trying not to lean to hard any direction. I'm just praying and giving it over to the God of my understanding as long as I can keep going in the right direction it will be ok.
I'm so happy though. I don't know that I've ever been this settled in me .. ever.
HA HA .. OMGOSH .. so the pool team I was playing on we came in 2nd overall and I had to laugh .. the team who won the sportsmanship award, placed first, .. this was the guy who threw the pool cue on the table after playing me and going off that my ranking wasn't right .. hey I can't help that .. LOL .. I seriously had a hot night that night .. that team ticked me off something to say about positive anger .. lol .. we kicked their butts that night .. anyway he was a special snowflake and the team are cops .. LOL. They dropped out and that means we went to first place .. I may try and go back for a couple of weekends and see if I can play on the team since it means we might get prize money .. LOL .. woot woot! So that was very exciting news .. my girlfriend was so funny when she text me about it.
So I'm looking for another team out here and very excited about playing again .. it's just a lot of fun.

Serenity - thanks so much for the update! Positive vibes and prayers for your interview tomorrow.
So glad to hear the kids are doing so good. What a gift to watch them adjust to a new place with joy and excitement.
