Wow what a life!!

10:10 PM last evening my house started to rock and roll and no it wasn't because the alcoholic/addict found her way back after 30 years of drinking and drugging.  I don't have one of those anymore.  It was a 5.2 force earthquake just out of town and just off shore and just under the landscape.  You can never tell what an earthquakes gonna do so practicing easy does it and let go and let God I accompanied our pups calmly and went back to my wife as she was getting up ready to run.  I calmed her and said I would wait thru the aftershocks and none came...I surfed out the initial ramming and jamming and the next thing I know it's six thirty and I gotta get up.  Into the kitchen and there my spouse is preparing breakfast like nothing happened.   She HATES EARTHQUAKES and we have tons of them because of the volcanic nature of our islands...1276 earthquakes since the start of the year or something like that...No we don't get to feel all of them.  Anyway shes calm, serene, like nothing ever happened and we sit for breakfast with or daily readers...ODAAT, C2C and HFT.   How awesome our literature is.  I don't know if the earthquake had anything to do with our attitude and each reading for the day was beyond "right on".  If you have the readers and haven't read the pages of the day...give it a try and see if you get the same affect, quake or not.

Some things are going on with my recovery...I'll keep quiet and listen and see what my Higher Power tells me is coming.  Bless you all.   Have a great day.  Aloha and Malama Pono... Love and take care.   (((((hugs))))) smile

((Jerry)) Glad you and your family are safe and that the daily readers are an important tool in your household. I am confident that your serenity helped your partner pick up her own tools and cope --your inner, wisdom and faith are a true gift.

Jerry -

I am glad you all are safe too....I live where we get tornados and don't like them......The earth shaking would put me over the edge (I think I would be like your wife).

I only read one daily and it does seem to always be about what I need to hear - uncanny that they work like that.

I'm always grateful when I see summaries here as I like to 'see' if folks read it like I do or better or ???

Thanks for the post and sorry it wasn't the earth shaking for other reasons - LOLOLOL!!

I'm glad you are safe Jerry - I imagine earthquakes to be scary, maybe not as scary (in my imagination) as tornados, but scary enough.

Lived though many earthquakes in CA..  Thank you God Jerry, family and Hawaii is safe.   We had a little dust storm here yesterday and a tree fell in in yard.  Glad it fell away from the house.

Glad your well Jerry. This program will take us through anything and everything it seems. It reminds me about the woman who got bad news and done what she was going to without letting it take over her. Thanks.x

I love  that story El Cee from the very first time I read it.  She was best programmed to her HP and dealt with what was real and not with the impossible...She self cared by caring with others.   I have often imagined her behavior including choosing surrendering what she had no power over.   ((((hugs)))) smile

((((JERRY)))) earthquakes are indeed a great teacher. I am still in this himalayan place, and we get rocked hard these months. Of course there is the fear and the powerlessness, but then there is also the lesson of being in the NOW, and then there is AWARENESS in everything I do, every step I take, every place I go. I see people more clearly now, I enjoy places more intensely now, and I love myself more now, and I trust HP fully now, because I was shown that for everything bad that happens, there is also something good we can choose to see. Love grows when we notice how small we really are in front of mother earth, how random life is given and taken, love love love, EVERY SINGLE DAY!
Gratitude being the best lesson of all and compassion with others who suffer more, being connected . lets bring our positive vibes out there
(((hugs)))
