I am changing but my Ah is not. I really believe this today. He is stuck in a rut. I am enjoying my friends & he thinks that they won't be there if I really need them. He has no clue about real friendships. Even his dad said to him that you only have one true friend & the rest are acquaintances.

Remember Kathleen that we are powerless over others. Keeping the focus on ourselves ,living one day at a time, placing principles above personalities allows us to walk side by side as partners. If your hubby feels neglected becasue you are going with freinds and not with him, pray that he find serenity and wisdom .

They will say anything...it doesn't have to be true or even how they really feel, then they will defend it to the end...please be oh so careful you don't take things that do not make sense to you... YOU can always say "I'm sorry you feel that way" then drop it...drives them nuts when they can't get you to react.

MY ex husband said to me "your stuck with your family" you choose your friends.. this was while I and his two amazingly beautiful girls were living life and he was running around with a coke head woman... I expect it was a quote from her..anyway.. water under the bridge just an example of how what they say usually is just junk.

MY girlfriends are gold! even though I don't see them often we have all moved on to healthy happy realtionships but we are still friends and they are GOLD!

PLus he may be "measuring you by his yardstick" meaning that might be his truth if he had friends? Who knows...to your own self be true and feel free to trust yourself,, so what if someday on something your mistaken trust the person who has your best interest at heart,, hopefully YOU!
