Yeah. Wolfie here. Aka Bernie. I know. I disappeared again. Only a few months this time. I could say it's the weird hours I work. Or that the outreach program Nancy and I are doing takes a lot of our time. Or That I bumped into some personalities again but that would be like saying other people or situations were the problem. But they are not.
I'm using my phone to post this and since my phone is an extension of my right hand and my right hand is always with me I have no excuse now. I'm working a twelve hour shift as a condo cop so I can come here and read. I'm using an old account. Maybe later I'll figure out how to get back into my recent account. For the time being I'm here. I know this is al-anon but anyone who knows me knows I don't keep my membership in AA a secret. In seven days I'll have 17 years. That puts me in alanon 19 years. So I didn't just get here. I been here an while.
So we'll be talking I'm sure. In the meantime and in between time, have a great day unless you have other plans.

Hey Bernie Nice to see you back posting. Working 12 hours a day should keep you out of trouble.:) but I do hope it does not keep you from continuing to share your ESH here.
Working full time now. I have been for over a year now. Our community outreach has just been almost overwhelming. We wanted to open a house for addicts because I have some background in that but it was too big a project so we altered our mission and now we do outreach work. The ladies knit scarves that we donate to community organizations to use as Christmas gifts. Last year we were able to help two places. But we did some fundraising and got some media attention and this year it's more like 16. So we been busy. Plus I wrote a few books about my 'adventures". So it's all good.

Beeeerrrrrnie!! Welcome home brother great to hear the new experience some that remind me of my own...Mahalo. Great to be able to read it and remember this is how it works and this is how we do the will of HP. Go easy on the full time stuff. 12 hours ISN'T full time at our age...maybe FOOL time, for me while I know that I am surviving this disease not so I can expense my life in a more un-necessary way. I know preaching to the choir. Grateful for the service lessons. (((hugs)))
I hear you Jerry, but I got bills to pay. Life was so much simpler when I slept under the bridge. But it was a lot colder too. I just got my old account info. so Wolfie55 is the one I will be using. I kinda prefer being a Senior. so this thing we do is all over social media. Anyone interested in what we do can just message me. We have a blog and all that good stuff. I actually have quite a few blogs. What can I say. I like to talk.
