Giggling felt good today

I am learning to laugh at myself in my martial arts class. I am quickly approaching 50 and my goal is to get my black belt before then...I am on track. So I was laughing at myself, then I heard a guy in my class moaning and groaning. He is in his late 50's. He tells us about his health problems, and he also laughs at himself. So, at the end of class I couldn't stop giggling when all I could hear was his moaning and groaning while we were doing push-ups. The teacher was a good sport about it. It's been a long time since I've had the giggles and couldn't stop. It felt good...and the guy who made me laugh didn't seem to mind either. What's even funnier is, he is working on a cane form. Lol. Seriously, it's a form that uses a cane. A form is a series of martial arts moves in case I am not making sense. I always joke about needing that cane. If I didn't laugh at myself in class, I would cry.

just wanted to share. Thanks

The ability to laugh at myself and to find humor in most situations made the difference between me ending up in a hospital and just doing what I could with what I had to work with one day at a time. I love the example of you living and laughing and let the man in your group live as he is, too! I hear faith, joy and letting go in your share, sister.
