Oh Betty, I used to do that when i was living in NE...Massachusetts to be exact...we would go out to western MA and it was postcard gorgeous....NH, all around, beautiful foliage.....glad u had a nice trip....I saw this and thought "not all my memories back in NE were bad...i had stuff like this to see"...
Every fall when the leaves would start to turn and it was still "ok" to sleep under the stars, I would get on my horse and go on a nature safari , and just be in awe of nature's beauty......Hugs....

Hey Paula, is that one of your paintings??? the avatar??? WOW....if it is, u sure are good with colors.....i look at it and i think of a (dont laugh at me) but i think of a peaceful dungeonese crab, on the bottom of the ocean, just meandering along, not having to be anywhere at any time, with a sort of grin on his face and just totally FREE!!!! I wonder what my interpretation of this lovely painting says of my mental state, LOL...
