Its a dreecht nicht the nicht but its the night when my country has spoken either for or against independence. I cant see around corners only my hp can so my vote was based on my limited view and understanding. I have faith that whatever it is, 6am this morn, it will be the right decision. Thanks alanon, the tension and excitment has made me drunk but ive kept one foot in sanity. Ive prayed for my country, will you saya wee payer too? Thanks.
Thanks pp. We lost, 45% said yes. Im gutted. I really thought we could do it. Fear is a powerful emotion used wisely, just when ive got some courage in my life, ironic. Thanks for the prayers pp and gratefu, it just wasnt enoughl. Time to dry my tears, gather up my dignity and get to work. I trust my hp that this is the right result.

I was watching BBC news this morning and I saw the NO vote. You will still be a nation of 4 so I pray that changes will be made like Cameron has said would happen.

I think that there will still be some positive things in store for Scotland soon, I think that the referendum has created a climate of change regardless of the result. As a selfish english brat I still love the idea that we share our nationality, I hope that you don't mind too much.
Thanks everyone. It's been a weird day. Feel rubbish. Millwood for me it wasn't about being separate from the people of the UK. Just the gov't and having a voice. Oh well. I won't feel sorry for myself too long. Just a couple of days.lol.x
Oh I can relate to that one El-cee. I lived two miles from Westminster for thirty years but often felt much the same way as you about the gov't! Shall we annex them instead?
Just saw a news report on how people of Scotland are "healing" since the "No" vote. They're sitting in pubs drinking beer. Geez, el cee. From what I saw on the news, it is a wonder you are in Al-Anon and I'm glad you are. In America, many TV celebrations take place around vodka bottles or beer. Of course, the advertisers always suggest that we "drink responsibly."
