Happy Easter

Happy Easter All

It is a very grateful day for me this year.  I am grateful to have my son alive and safe in place where he can't hurt himself. I'm grateful for everything I have learn and practiced over this last couple of years.  I am grateful to be able to sit here happy that I'm not in worry or fear and I can take what God has given me and use it for good.  I can think of my son being in a long term rehab and get strong enough to realize his disease and finally do something about it but I also know that might not happen so I'm grateful that I can have choices on how to handle it.

I have risen up for the good and nobody can take that away from me ever again...

Have a blessed day my friends...we are not alone.

((( hugs )))

Happy Easter to you too Cathy. You have come a long way, and you will travel still further on the road to recovery. At my old age I am still learning my hang-ups, personality flaws and still need the program very much and need to trudge on. It is easier though because Alanon is integrated in my life without effort. All your problems, insights and ah-ha moments keep me thinking and not get complacent. Thank You.

Im so happy for you cathy, you and your son are in a good place, just where you both should be really. You sound as if you have serenity in your life and thats what were all here for I think. Peace of mind, its so valuable especially for us mothers. Maybe one day il get to feel that way, you are certainly an inspiration for me, you have worked this program so well and have shared it all here, the good and the bad. Im grateful for that, it has helped me feel that im not alone and there is another way to live through it. Enjoy your peace, you so deserve it.x
