I took yesterday and today off work so I could go visit my son. Yesterday I was going to clean and fiddle around and then today go for my visit. My son had been moved into the inmate working section because they gave him a job. Second day into the job he had a seizure so that ended his working for a while. He was disappointed but will live. Anyways when he had to change back to unit 4 pod they change is visiting day again and it was yesterday. When I got the call from his father telling me this it way almost 11am. I wanted so bad to visit that I think it took me maybe 20 minutes to get ready and I was out the door racing to the jail so I would miss seeing him. Son was surprised I came because of such short notice but I made it and was able to visit for 80 minutes. We had a great visit too. Got some business done and I gave him news about what is happening in the world and we both just enjoyed our time.
I was up in the area after the visit so I went to my X's home to visit and got home about 11pm.
Tired but grateful for my day. I even colored some eggs yesterday morning see avatar...

I'm also glad you got to visit with your son. Sounds like it was an HP'd kind of thing especially with the phone call son's Dad didn't have to make to you but did.
Thank you everyone for the kind words. The only thing sad about all this is he is still in denial about why he's there. He was not drinking....just the day and morning before this all happen. I just don't understand his thinking I can only pray he will get it someday.
